Group Dog Walks in Llay

On the Llay side of Alyn Waters Country Park there is open grass, which makes it a natural spot for group dog walks in Llay. We pick up from homes across Llai, walk up to four dogs for an hour, then bring each one home.

Group walk£15

What's included

Group walks cost £15 for one hour. Any additional dog from your home is £5, and the group never goes past four dogs.

Goldendoodles fit in well: friendly, keen on company, though their coats mat easily, so open grass is a better bet than a bramble patch. Before anything is booked we come to your home for a meet and greet, talk through keys and routines, and decide together whether a group or a solo walk suits your dog.

Our Llay walks

Alyn Waters is popular with dog walkers, so a group from Llay meets plenty of other dogs along the way and needs decent manners. The council page says dogs are welcome in most areas, with fines for dog waste, and we always pick up.

The open grass on the Llay side gives dogs room to move. There is pay and display parking at the park, but since we collect your dog from home, that is one less thing for you to think about.

Questions owners ask

FAQs

Do I have to pay for parking at Alyn Waters?

No. Alyn Waters has pay and display parking, but we collect your dog from home, so getting there and parking is down to us.

How long is a group walk?

1 hour, out on the trails with a few doggy friends.

How many dogs are in a group?

Up to 4 dogs, so every dog gets attention.

Can my dog join a group walk?

We meet your dog first. Group walks suit sociable dogs with reliable recall; we will suggest solo walks if that suits your dog better.

Are you insured and DBS checked?

Yes. We are fully insured, DBS checked and first aid trained.

What is a meet and greet?

Before the first walk we visit you at home to meet your dog and talk through routines, keys and any quirks.
