Solo walk£20

What's included

Solo walks are £20 for 45 minutes. One walker, one dog, no sharing. Collection and drop-off are part of it, and we go out in every kind of weather.

We meet you at home before the first walk to learn your Springer’s routine and recall, and which toys or treats get their attention. It is also when we sort out keys and agree anything else we need to know.

Why it suits Springer Spaniels

Our breed notes mark Springer Spaniels as high energy, needing 90 to 120 minutes of walking a day. They need off-lead running and tend to flush wildlife, so a walker has to be watching closely.

On a solo walk the walker can plan where a Springer can run safely, and keep them on lead where birds or other animals are about. It is a good way to top up their exercise on days you cannot get out for long.

Where we walk

Springers suit the bigger spaces in our area. Alyn Waters Country Park has open grass on the Llay side, and the council says dogs are welcome in most areas there. For Coedpoeth, the woodland at Minera Lead Mines and the trail past Nant Mill are close by.

Off-lead running only happens where the site allows it, so we check the signs on the day.
