Why it suits Labradoodles
Our breed notes class Labradoodles as high energy, needing 60 to 90 minutes of walking a day. An hour with other dogs covers most or all of that.
They can be boisterous, so we match them with dogs that enjoy an active play style. Their coats are grooming-heavy, which means a wet trail walk can bring a fair bit of the trail home with them. We carry a portable Mud Daddy washer and rinse the worst of it off before your Labradoodle goes back indoors.
Where we walk
Labradoodles need room, and the open grass at Alyn Waters Country Park gives a group plenty, and the council says dogs are welcome in most areas there. Dogs in Coedpoeth can head out around Nant Mill and the Minera Lead Mines woodland.
Closer to the centre, Acton Park is handy for Acton, Rhosddu, Rhosnesni and Borras. Dog rules differ between sites, so we check the signs on the day.

Will a boisterous Labradoodle fit into a group?
We meet your dog first and match them with dogs that suit their play style. If a solo walk would suit them better, we will say so.
How long is a group walk?
1 hour, out on the trails with a few doggy friends.
How many dogs are in a group?
Up to 4 dogs, so every dog gets attention.
Can my dog join a group walk?
We meet your dog first. Group walks suit sociable dogs with reliable recall; we will suggest solo walks if that suits your dog better.
Are you insured and DBS checked?
Yes. We are fully insured, DBS checked and first aid trained.
What is a meet and greet?
Before the first walk we visit you at home to meet your dog and talk through routines, keys and any quirks.
