The route

Nant Mill lies on the Clywedog Trail, which runs from Minera past Nant Mill and Bersham to Erddig. The trail is flat and mostly surfaced, so it is comfortable for most dogs.

From Nant Mill you can head up towards Minera or down towards Bersham, choosing how far to go. On our walks we pick the direction and distance to suit your dog. The site has a picnic area and a play area, handy for a break on a longer outing.

Parking

Parking at Nant Mill is pay and display at £1 a day, and Blue Badge holders park free. Nant Mill is also covered by the Alyn Waters season ticket, so if you have one, check how it applies here before you visit.

Dogs we walk here are collected from home in Coedpoeth or nearby and returned afterwards. You do not need a ticket or a parking space, just a dog with a lead by the door, ready for an outing.

Dog rules

Dog rules at Nant Mill have not been confirmed, so please check the signs on the day. The trail passes several sites, and each may set its own rules.

Bag up after your dog wherever you walk. Before we take your dog out here, we talk through recall, lead manners and anything else we should know at the meet and greet in your home.
