Puppy Walks in Gwersyllt

Alyn Waters Country Park is a big place for a small dog, so puppy walks in Gwersyllt start small. Once your puppy has finished their vaccinations, we collect them from Gwersyllt, Summerhill or Stansty for short, fun outings that build confidence.

Puppy walk£20

What's included

A puppy walk is £20, matching our solo walk price, and it only begins after the vaccination course is complete.

Spaniel puppies are a good example of why short outings help. Our notes on Cocker Spaniels say they are nose-down dogs that may self-hunt, and recall takes work, so early outings are about calm, short and fun, not a long run. We start with a meet and greet at your home to learn your puppy’s routine and sort out keys.

Our Gwersyllt walks

Alyn Waters is popular with dog walkers, so a puppy here meets plenty of other dogs. That is useful practice, and we pace it so it never overwhelms them.

Going by the council page, dogs are welcome in most of the park. Fines apply for dog waste, and we always pick up. For the youngest puppies we stick to the edges of the park before building up to more.
