French Bulldog Walker in Wrexham
French Bulldogs need far less walking than most breeds, but what they do get has to be done carefully. As a French Bulldog walker in Wrexham, we keep outings short, watch the temperature closely and choose quiet routes. Your Frenchie is collected from home and back before they overheat.

How much exercise a French Bulldog needs
Frenchies are a low energy breed and need around 30 to 40 minutes of walking a day, split into shorter outings if that suits them better.
Being flat-faced, they cope badly with heat and heavy exertion, so more is not better. A gentle stroll with time to sniff, plus some play at home, is plenty for most. Pushing a Frenchie further does them no favours.
Best Wrexham walks for French Bulldogs
For a Frenchie, close to home beats far away. Acton Park and Bellevue Park are both town parks near the centre, which keeps the drive short and the walk relaxed.
In Marchwiel, the village lanes and fields give a quieter option for dogs who find busy parks a bit much. On warm days we keep walks short and stick to shade wherever we can find it.
Which service suits
Many Frenchies are best served by a drop-in visit: 30 minutes for £10 to check in, play, feed and let your dog out. For just food and a loo break, a feed and let out visit costs £7.
If your Frenchie enjoys a proper outing, a solo walk is 45 minutes for £20, with no other dogs along. We set a gentle pace, which suits a dog that tires quickly and prefers its own space.

Walking French Bulldogs: what we watch for
Heat is the main risk. On warm days we aim for the cooler parts of the day where we can, keep the pace easy and stop if breathing gets noisy or laboured.
Some Frenchies are also dog-reactive, so we give other dogs on the path plenty of space. At the meet and greet, tell us how your dog reacts to strangers, both human and canine.
