The route
Gresford Flash is a lake walk, so the water is what draws people here.
Access to the lake is not yet confirmed, so we only include it on our walks once we know where dogs can and cannot go. Until then, Marford Quarry nature reserve nearby gives Gresford and Marford dogs another good option close to home.
Parking
With access still being checked, it is worth finding out where you can leave a car before you set out.
For dogs we walk, the whole journey is taken care of. We collect your dog from home in Gresford or Marford, take them out on a suitable walk nearby and drop them back afterwards, so you can carry on with your day.
Dog rules
Access to Gresford Flash needs to be verified, and we have not been able to confirm any dog rules. Please check the signs on the day before heading in with your dog.
Near water, it is sensible to think about whether your dog will want to swim and how good their recall is. We talk this through at the meet and greet so we know how to keep your dog safe on any walk.
