Solo Dog Walks for Cocker Spaniels in Wrexham

A Cocker Spaniel out on a walk usually has its nose to the ground and its mind on whatever it can smell. Solo dog walks for Cocker Spaniels in Wrexham give your dog 45 minutes with one walker watching that nose, collected from home and dropped back afterwards.

What's included

One dog, one walker, 45 minutes, £20. Your Cocker gets the walker’s full attention, with collection and drop-off included and no cancellations for weather.

Before we start, we visit you at home for a meet and greet. That is the time to tell us about recall, favourite toys, and anything your spaniel likes to chase, along with the usual routines and keys.

Why it suits Cocker Spaniels

Our breed notes class Cocker Spaniels as high energy, needing around 90 minutes of walking a day. They are nose-down dogs that may self-hunt, which means a scent can pull them off course quickly.

On a solo walk there is time to work on recall as you go, with no other dogs to distract them. The walker can keep your Cocker on lead where it is needed and still let them enjoy all the sniffing they love.

Where we walk

Cockers in Coedpoeth have Nant Mill and the Minera Lead Mines woodland nearby, and the Clywedog Trail runs on from there through Bersham towards Erddig. In Gresford and Marford, Marford Quarry nature reserve is the local option.

Nature reserves and estates can have their own rules for dogs, so we check the signs on the day before letting a nose go anywhere.
