What's included

A solo walk costs £20 and lasts 45 minutes, with your Lurcher the only dog out. We collect from your home and bring them back after, in any weather. You can pay by cash or bank transfer.

Before the first walk there is a meet and greet at home, where we go through routines, keys, collar or harness, and how your Lurcher reacts to small animals.

Why it suits Lurchers

Our breed notes put Lurchers at medium energy, needing 45 to 60 minutes of walking a day plus some sprints. They have a strong prey drive, so off-lead running is only safe in an enclosed area.

One to one, the walker can focus entirely on your Lurcher, keep them on lead in open spaces and watch for anything that might set off a chase. We do not use an enclosed field, so sprints are best kept for your own secure garden.

Where we walk

We walk Lurchers near home, on lead, in places where we can keep a good watch around us. Bellevue Park and Acton Park are options in town, and the Clywedog Trail is flat and mostly surfaced for dogs in Coedpoeth, Rhostyllen and Bersham.

We check the signs on the day for any rules about dogs and keep the lead on in all open areas.
