A Golden Retriever

Solo walk£20

What's included

For £20 your Golden gets a 45 minute walk with one walker and no other dogs. We collect them from your home and return them afterwards, and the walk goes ahead in all weathers.

A meet and greet at your home comes first, covering routines, where keys are kept and the little quirks that make your dog who they are.

Why it suits Golden Retrievers

Goldens sit firmly in the high energy group in our breed notes, with around 90 minutes of walking a day. Solo walks give a focused 45 minutes of that and leave you free to do the rest at a time that suits you.

They are gentle dogs and love water. One to one, the walker can follow your lead on whether swimming is allowed, and keep things steady for a Golden who prefers an easier pace.

Where we walk

We usually walk solo dogs close to where they live. Goldens in Rhostyllen and Bersham can head along the Clywedog Trail by Bersham Ironworks, and Erddig’s waymarked routes are nearby too. In Marchwiel we use the village lanes and fields.

Erddig is a National Trust estate, so we check its rules for dogs and the signs on the day before we go.
